After losing to Archimedean the last time they met, Divine Savior Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sharks came out on top against Archimedean by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Divine Savior Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score was 22-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-19.

Kingston Leyrer paced Divine Savior Academy’s offense, picking up 13 kills. Leyrer got some help from Manuel Cueva, who had 35 assists. Leyrer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Divine Savior Academy’s win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Archimedean, their loss was their third straight on the road, dropping their record to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Divine Savior Academy will take on Immaculata-La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Archimedean, they will face Greater Miami Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
