Tuesday, August 31 saw MaxPreps release their first volleyball rankings of the year. Divine Savior Academy was sure to be somewhere near the top of that list when it was released for Class 3A. However, shockingly enough, the Sharks found themselves at #1 to start the year in a loaded and talented Class 3A. This is great recognition for the team but means nothing regarding the goals and expectations this group has for the year. Still, it is a special achievement and accomplishment for the team and school. This marks the first time in school history, that any Divine Savior Academy team has been ranked #1 in their class for a team sport at any time during the season. God has truly blessed this team with a lot of talent. You definitely want to find time to watch these ladies play this year and cheer them on. Their first home match of the season is Friday, September 3 at 5:30 pm vs. American Heritage. Congratulations girls and best of luck on Friday. GO SHARKS!
