Sixteen of the top teams in the State regardless of class came together the weekend of October 1-2 to compete in the Battle at the Beach Invitational. This tournament is one of the top high school volleyball tournaments hosted in Florida each year. Venice HS has been holding this tournament for several years and their tournament director commented that this was the most talented collection of teams in the tournament’s history. The players represented DSA well in advancing to the silver bracket and taking 7th place. It was a great experience for the team and provided for some great competition.
