Wednesday night December 1st brought the 2021 Varsity Volleyball team back together for one last time. The team gathered for the annual Awards Night to celebrate the accomplishments of the past season. Some of the awards of the night are listed below.

24 wins and 6 loses (2nd most wins in school history)

District Champions – 9th time overall and 9th in a Row
Regional Runner-up – 5th time overall

Venice Battle of the Beach All-Tournament Team – Belyssa Cruz
Westminster Christian All-Tournament Team – Isabella Mendoza, Maite Alberdi

Defensive MVP – Belyssa Cruz
Most Improved Player – Samantha Valbuena
Shark Award – Natalia Cappellaro

AVCA 2nd Team All-American – Isabella Mendoza

DSA Career Kills Leader – Isabella Mendoza (1,320)

With 11 seniors on this team, it is safe to say that next year’s squad will have an entirely different look to it. The 2021 team accomplished so much and completed a remarkable year. Many individuals concluded their seasons and careers in remarkable fashion. To God be the Glory!
