The varsity volleyball team won the Chaminade-Madonna Tournament this past weekend. Several highly ranked teams were in attendance but our DSA Sharks came out on top. The team defeated West Broward, St. John Paul II Academy, Pine Crest, Calvary Christian Academy, and Gulliver Prep en route to winning the championship.

Selected to the Chaminade-Madonna All-Tournament team were senior Carolla Rodriguez, freshman Kayla Lopes, and senior Thalia Iglesias. Thalia was named the tournament MVP. To God be the Glory!

The Sharks now stand with a record of 9-0 on the season. Their next game is against St. Brendan on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 pm on the road.
