Varsity Girls Soccer Recap
Our Varsity Girls Soccer Team ended their season with a hard played game against Miami Edison. The girls had a memorable and successful season. They were 7(wins)-6(losses)-2(ties). The team stats were led by freshmen, Maya Piquion and Paola Gonzalez. Congratulations to our players and coaches. Let’s hear a few closing words from captain, Victoria Esquivia:
“This season was unforgettable. During the three months of practicing and playing games, the team kept growing and improving, allowing us to put everything we had into the finals in Districts. Although we did not get the results we wished for, the freshmen made sure to put every ball in the net, the sophomores always made sure to be their best on and off the field, the juniors continued to support the team and the backline, and lastly, the seniors continued the legacy left from the seniors from 2023. Everyone on this team had a significant role in how this season has been one of the best since my first time playing on this team. Not only did the players play a crucial role in this team’s success, but also the coaches, their hard work, and perseverance to make sure every one of us was giving 110% of what we could provide on the field.”
