Congratulations to our Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team on advancing to Regional Finals. The boys defeated JC Bermudez 2-0 in the district semifinal match. They then went up against Downtown Doral to compete for the district championship. Unfortunately, we could not pull through with a win. However, our team was ranked high enough to advance to the Regional quarterfinals. There, they defeated Palmer Trinity 3-2. Last week the Sharks came in with a huge win against LaSalle 2-0, advancing them to the Regional Finals. The team will play again on 2/14 battling for a spot at the State Championship game and the Regional Champ title! Congratulations to our players and coaches. Here is a few words from captain, Matthew Collado:

“This has been my favorite soccer season with playing on the DSA team. I am so happy that we got to advance to the Regional Finals. I am hoping that we will come away with a victory against our rivals, Downtown Doral. It should be a very intense game and we are all excited to play! Win or lose this has been a memorable season. Hopefully we can secure our spot at the State Championship Game and come away with a win, making school history.”
