The Divine Savior cross country runners competed at Palmer Trinity on Tuesday. The JV and Varsity teams were combined, so there was one race for the girls and one for the boys.

Captain Mariana Castillo was the first DSA runner to finish for the girls with a time of 24:11. She earned a medal for placing 5th overall. Trinity Hartman was next with a time of 25:38, and Hannan Olave followed with a time of 27:20.

It was another exciting race for the boys’ team. Both Mateo Sotelo and Sebastian Tenorio ran a time of 18:12, although Mateo inched out Sebastian to secure 2nd place overall. Jo Nunez was close behind, and his time of 18:15 earned him 5th place.

All of the athletes competed well, and we are looking forward to another competition at Palmer Trinity for the District meet on October 26.
