On Friday, September 20, the high school boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams competed in the Spanish River Invitational in Boca Raton. Senior Mateo Sotelo broke the school record 5K time. Mateo finished in 9th place and ran an impressive 16:28. This broke the previous school record of 16:31 held by Guilherme Pereira. The boys team as a whole finished in 8th place at the highly competitive Spanish River Invitational. The girls also did well with many of them setting personal records.
