It’s hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Divine Savior Academy can now relate to. They fell 5-3 to the Florida Christian Patriots on Wednesday in the District Final. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Divine Savior Academy hit Florida Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joshua Canaday, Gabriel Naveda, and Miguel Petter.

Divine Savior Academy’s defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-3. As for Florida Christian, the win got them back to even at 8-8-3.

Both teams will not await the Regional rankings to see the next scheduled matchup.
