The DSA JV volleyball team decisively won their final home game against Westminster Academy with scores of 25-8 and 25-4. Seventh grader Sasha Kawas had a stellar performance leading the team with 13 kills. Her kills came from the hands of Gracie Macia, who racked up 14 assists, and Maria Isabel Castillo, who contributed 6 assists. The Sharks served well with multiple players serving aces. Luiza Bergamaschi lead the team with four aces in the second set alone. The JV Sharks play their final match Thursday, October 14 at St. Thomas Aquinas. A earned victory would allow the Sharks to claim an undefeated record this season
