On Monday, October 25, the boys and girls District tournament took place at Miami Shores Country Club. The tournament got off to a wet and gloomy start as some morning rain joined in on the tournament. The sun eventually came out and it was still a great day to play golf.

The boys team finished in 5th place with a team score of 331. Daniel Vanososte finished with an individual score of 72 and earned himself an individual trip to Regionals next Monday. Ignacio Asin almost joined him but missed out by one stroke.

In the girls’ division, Nicole Sardinha and Yariliz Delgado represented DSA as individual golfers. Yariliz finished with a score of 87 and Nicole finished with 77. Nicole also finished high enough that she will move onto Regionals next week as an individual.
