After flying high against Hialeah Educational Academy last Friday, Divine Savior Academy came back down to earth. The Divine Savior Academy Sharks took a blow against the Ransom Everglades Raiders on Tuesday, falling 72-11. The Sharks haven’t had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team’s come up short the last four times they’ve met.
Divine Savior Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Claudia Cardenas, who posted two points and seven rebounds.
Divine Savior Academy’s loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Ransom Everglades, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Divine Savior Academy will host Immaculata-La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ransom Everglades, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coral Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
