The Divine Savior Academy Sharks will challenge the Miami Country Day Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the first District playoff game. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Thursday, Divine Savior Academy lost to iMater Charter at home by a 40-25 margin.

Meanwhile, Miami Country Day unfortunately witnessed the end of their 20-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of IMG Academy. While the Spartans didn’t get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Ascenders 14-10 in the first quarter.

Divine Savior Academy’s defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Miami Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 22-2.

Divine Savior Academy was dealt a bruising 88-18 defeat at the hands of Miami Country Day in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. The Sharks will look to bounce back in this District Playoff matchup. Go Sharks!
