E-Sports Opens a New Season

DSA is very excited to announce the good news you might have heard, we finally have an E-sports team! The E-sports team is based on three different titles: League of Legends, Super Smash Bros, and Rocket League. Thanks to the help of this club advisors, Mr. Kenny and Mr. Fax, students who love gaming are able to put their skills to the test! Through stress and adrenaline, the students are constantly looking for ways to improve on themselves to better the team.
Last week for the first time ever in the history of E-sports at DSA, we had two successful wins and one loss! We are proud to cheer on our gamers! Our first loss in the League of Legends according to Mr. Kenny was “lost with style” last Tuesday, which was against Western Reserve Academy based in Ohio. We had an unfortunate loss of 3-1. Although Mr. Kenny says that he believes that this team will continue to “Work and earn success” through practices and experiences to become a better team. Moreover, we were able to succeed in the last two titles! In the Super Smash Bros, students were able to beat Jupiter High School Warriors 3 to 1, and in the Rocket of League, DSA students were able to beat Sebastian River High School Sharks a 3 to 1! Also, a cool fact about the game versus Sebastian River High School was that they were down one player, so DSA decided to play with one player less making it a 2v2 rather than a traditional 3v3!
Congratulations to our DSA E-sports team and we wish you the best of luck in the next few matches!
