Divine Savior Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn’t the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones on Tuesday, falling 7-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Divine Savior Academy of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair’s previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Valentina Rake and Paola Gonzalez scored both of Divine Savior Academy’s goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Divine Savior Academy will venture away from home to take on St. Brendan at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they will head out to face off against Downtown Doral at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
