Castillo, Gonzalez, Romero score double figures as Sharks win 78-49


The Boys Varsity Basketball team won their third consecutive game in an away game versus iMater Charter Academy Monday in Hialeah. Junior Christian Gonzalez shot 83% from the field scoring 15 points for the game. Senior Xander Castillo led all scorers again with 24 points, and Senior Giann Romero added 11 points in just three quarters due to foul trouble. The Sharks took an early lead in the first Quarter closing 20-9 at the end of the period, and kept piling on points to lead 44-24 at the half. The boys added to their lead in the third leading 63-38 to start the fourth, and closed the game for the win with a score of 78-49. The Sharks visit the Reagan Bisons for an away game tonight.
