Senior Shark runners Mateo Sotelo and Ryan Hansen set a new bar for future Shark runners this season. Earlier this cross-country season, Ryan Hansen broke the record at the New World Fall Spectacular Meet in Jacksonville, Florida. Ryan finished with a time of 16:20 to beat the old record by eight seconds. The record was broken earlier in the season by fellow senior Mateo Sotelo at the 305 Classic Meet.

At the State meet on November 16, Mateo Sotelo once again made school history. His time of 16:20 at the State meet tied Hansen’s school record. Great job to both runners and the entire boys team this season.
