On Tuesday 2/22/22 the DSA MS boys played a competitive match at home vs. Cushman.

In the most evenly matched tennis outing of the season thus far the DSA boys fell to Cushman with a match total of 5-2. The day started off with #1 and #2 singles players Matthias Altamirano and Richard Novas falling to their opponents with the scores of 6-2 and 6-1 respectively. Both matches were much closer than their scores would indicate, as many of the games were played out until a score of Duce before being decided. #3 singles player Kevin Chen battled back from a 5-3 deficit to lose in a 7-6 (8-6) tiebreak to his opponent. #4 singles player Erasmo Da Silva lost with a score of 6-3, while #5 singles player Martin Iparraguirre took the sole singles win for the team with a result of 6-3.

In doubles, the results were split with #1 doubles losing (6-3) and #2 doubles taking the victory (6-4).

The Sharks have a record of 1-2 on the season. Their next match will take place at home on Thursday, March 3rd when they take on Ransom Everglades.
